Based on the latest science, this is a great book for anyone interested in the fundamental building blocks of feline behavior, and an invaluable handbook for cat owners.. Marnie McGrath said Excellent Reference Book. Unlike the majority of cat books I have recently read, this one actually details positive and negative characteristics of various cat breeds. So many books rave about the positives of certain breeds but there is nary a mention of any negative characteristics. After reading this book I felt confident in choosing a Cornish Rex kitten for my pet.. "Finally, science exposes cat behavior!" according to Marci Kladnik. Short and sweet, this little gem sheds insight into the mysteries of cats. Mostly about purebreds and their traits, it still makes a useful tool for the rescue group shopper just looking to pick out a new four-legged family member. The book has been added to my reference shelf.. Excellent Reference on Cat Breeds scromett A thorough, yet entertaining, short book on average behaviors of the most ccmmon cat breeds, including those interested in the domestic short and long hair cats I would recommend it highly to those who interested in looking for a cat that would suit their familiy situation and personalities.
