I thoroughly enjoyed "Year of the CrackMom". This story is real, gritty and down & dirty. There is no sugar coating the power of a crack addiction, and this author "V.J. Gotastory" does not shy away from the truth!!Kaneesha and Jarvis are a couple struggling to make it. They both want a better life for themselves and Kaneesha's son Hysear. When I first discovered Crackmom I had some high expectation for this book,butafter reading it this book came up a little bit short & left me disappointed bythe end.Dont get it twisted despite the way I started this review Crackmom is adecent well written book.The main characters Kaneesha & her boyfriend Jarvis goto hell & back once they are introduced to crack & develope an addiction thatthey can never satisfy.They loose there jobs,section 8 apt & self respect tryingto feed there habit
