Paul D. Andrews said How can you go wrong?. One reviewer complained that there are no surprises here. That's exactly why I keep coming back to the In Death books. Its a place to hang out with familiar friends - Dallas, Roarke, Peabody, and all the rest. The writing is clever and sometimes even laugh out loud funny. Add to that a mystery, a fair amount of geek-speak, some futuristic gadgets, an d little bit of sex. How can you go wrong? My only complaint is that it was over too soon!. "Short and Unsuspenseful" according to AggieO. This comes as a surprise as I have read almost all of JD Robb's "In Death" series and enjoy most of it. This book had a good pace in the beginning, not too fast, not too slow, and then abruptly, after one level of suspect, it ends. Crime solved. It feels as if Ms. Robb had to produce something to please her publishers to say, "there, I've given you a book, now leave me alone!".Thoroughly unsatisfying and a disappointment.. Five Stars Margarita E. Dickens Love this series of books, I really enjoy how the characters reveal themselves, cannot wait for the next book.
