The text is riddled with parentheticals, most of which are irrelevant and/or insultingly insipid. That said, not even a good editor could have saved this book. For all of its good intentions, there is very little of interest. Aside from "revelations" derived from a few interviews between the author and Ms. Montgomery, the bulk of the book is a rehash of interview and fan-magazine snip-its -- and a fair amount of speculation and innuendo.
