F. Ost said started good but ended bad. I agree that the baptism of the spirit is required for true salvation but he went way off the reservation with reincarnation, and that another being beside God created man. it's hard to connect how the removed gospels/apocrypha provide a 'new' interpretation of Jesus words. Pretty twisted logic in many places. I thought this wild challenge my thinking but instead this turns out to be another cult manual.started goodended bad.. Shawn Hosier said Eye Opening. At the minimum this book has allowed me to see the teaching of Jesus in a new perspective. The questions I've been running through my brain have answers. My heart is filled with joy knowing where to find the truth. The vail of darkness has been lifted. Thank you so much. Praise Jesus!. Falling into anti-semitism Amazon Customer "By their fruits shall you know them" Much of this is interesting and thoughtful, but it also fell into the same trap some gnosticism did, a rationale for hatred and anti-semitism that at one point in this book even collapses into a defense of the Holocaust. Excellent as an example of the pitfalls that surround the spiritual quest, very dangerous as a guide for the same.
