Amos Cassidy's Crimson Series was a unique foray into Urban Fantasy, and I had no idea how they were going to do it with a new series, but they did. And they did it so well.Jake Pendragon is a man trying for a new start. A horrific incident shattered his life and he thinks moving to a small town would be just what he needs. From the very beginning the Rain by Amos Cassidy grabs your attention and doesn't stop. Jake, the main character, suffers a tremendous loss in the first few pages. He moves to a small coastal town to try and get away from his heartbreak. It's here where he finds out he has some odd abilities. He meets a mixed group of people that are basically the good guys. As evil chases them, Jake tries to learn how to perfect his capabilities because people are dying. You can't help but love all the characters involv
