"Three Stars" according to anthony eglin. Excellent writing but the lurid descriptions of violence eventually turned me off I'll try one more.. Easy read I first read the recently published "The Raven" by this author and really enjoyed it so, as per usual, when I find an author I like, I will read all their books. As I liked the characters, it was good to go back and get to know them from the start. Whilst this book was not as suspenseful as Raven, it was still a good, relaxing read. If you are looking for sex and violence, this is not for you. It happens that I like British police. Liked the book, not the theme Dog Lady This book was a very well put together mystery. It kept me interested and wondering what would happen next. The theme was one, however, that I did not enjoy. But for that, it could have been an enjoyable cozy, I would read other books by this author, though, and I did like the central figures of Kolla and Brock. I also enjoyed the snowy English countryside setting. I would have given it four stars but for many printing errors. It
