"Cute book" according to dawdak. My 7 year old daughter loves this book. She read it in one day. She would not put it down and laughed all the way through it.. BirdWatcher said So much fun!. I purchased this book for my grandson and his after school book club circle. He loves to read and he loves dogs. He is in first grade and is an avid reader. Even though this book is usually available through the Scholastic Book Fair offered in schools, he missed the last one and so we checked on Amazon and it. info shopper said Would have been better if it were more succinct as the first pages. Would have been better if it were more succinct as the first pages were when introducing the characters. After that, it just goes on and on with too many examples, adjectives describing each quality. You can skip many of the pages to get the point.
