A million-dollar goat farm seemed like the deal of the century. While having a control freak as a partner might seem difficult from the outside, it certainly does motivate oneself to get off one’s ass…if for no other reason than to shut him up. "No run-of-the-mill high heels to muck boots memoir --- this book is so much more." according to Lisa at Fresh Eggs Daily. One of the best city to farm memoirs I've ever readand I've read a lot of them. Josh's dry wit and easy style of writing makes this such a great read. I have never met 'the boys' in person, but hope to one day. Their generosity and love of life is infectious - I follow them on Facebook and Instagram - and that comes through in this book as well. Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy. You won't be disappointed. This is no run-of-the-mill high heels to much boots memoirIt's so much more.. Gardening for Novices This was interesting and presented an intriguing picture of country living. I enjoyed it as light reading. I didn't find it compellingly but engaging. Really liked the characters.. Through a series of fortunate and un-fortunate events and a LOT of hard work Through a series of fortunate and un-fortunate events and a LOT of hard work and ingenuity, the Boys are living my dream on their beautiful NY farm.
