A lot could kill us all.The Nightstalkers are back, and the world needs them now more than ever. When a real-life truth serum, an unauthorized military cabal, and the nuclear football—which contains the authorization the President needs to launch the nation’s missiles—all converge, the Nightstalkers suit up for another deadly job. Joining forces with the Cellar, the covert world’s police force, the team might be mankind’s last hope. With the President infected by an out-of-control pathogen, the Nightstalkers’ primary mission becomes finding a hidden stash of nuclear missiles before a secret group can launch a pre-emptive strike against America’s enemies. Because a rogue general has taken control of the operation center beneath the White House, and all hell’s about to break loose. The Book of Truths builds and builds before roaring to a breathless showdown that could mean the beginning of the end for everyone.
Suspenseful and fast paced C. Chamberlain I thought this book was quite good and characters well developed. I read on a solo, relaxing vacation and it's not my usual genre, but I found myself looking forward to continuing when I put it down for a spell. I would buy another book by this author.. Bob said Boaring. I though the story line was good. I felt the author went to far in explaining each chactor background and thoughts. Made for some boring reading. Could have cut the book in half.. Kindle Customer said Read it straight through! Enjoyable read!. Very good read and character building. Fun read that I don't want to put down!
