Telling time with the Bears "The Berenstain Bears Catch the Bus" is another winner in the excellent series of children's books coauthored by Stan and Jan Berenstain. The series is about the Bear family: mom, dad, and the two cubs. I especially love the Bear's whimsical house: a hollow tree with Victorian accents and lavender trim. The story is told in an. Fun early reader Fun series. Nice early readers.. No more "I want to sleep". This is a really useful book to get my four-year old out of bed every morning. A nice feature is that every page shows a dial and a digital clock, making it easy for the child to learn to tell time. The book also teaches my son that he might be late for school if he does not wake up on time. So now every morning I will read the book to him, and he will wake up smiling instead of whining "I want to sleep"!
