Given that common sense often goes out the window when reading the Bible this is a welcome series of short reminders.. "Opened my eyes!" according to J.D. Sparks. Until I read this book I thought of myself a a fairly educated Christian. After reading it I now know I have a lot of work to do. What I considered knowledge was in fact just a repetition of someone else's doctrine. I would gloss over text that I couldn't make sense of instead of digging in and searching for the answers.
