A Much Better Read Than the First Jarheads Novel Rigger, Rock and Dick are back. This second novel in the Jarheads series is much better than the first. The characters are much more developed, and there is an interesting storyline involving the gay bashing of Rigger. Of course there is still a lot of sex, but now there's a clear emotional bond shared amongst these three men. If you liked the first book in this series, then you will definitely enjoy this book as well.. Twosie Beats Onesie, but Nothing Beats Threes! Jeeze -- I've been in a committed love relationship for over 23 years, but this book made me ache to be in a Triad, not only for the sex but also for the emotional contribution of two other partners to the relationship as a whole! (Obviously, such a scenario requires the RIGHT partners.) The sex was more than hot (involved about 70% of the book), and the variations in sex roles was awesome, but the plot line was also gripping.
