Taken By A Vampire has all the elements that we love about Joey's Vampire Queen books including sexy and powerful Vampires, very well done erotic scenes, and we get to visit with familiar and loved characters from previous books. Evan, Alanna and Niall stole my heart. While these three had all the tendencies of vampires and servants, their relationship took on a human feel because they cared so deeply for each other. There were some moments in the book where I thought this cannot end well, and I didn't expect the ending we got, that was a wonderful nice. "Loved it!!!" according to lovely. I have not read other books in this story. I may because I LOVED this one so very much. I haven't because they sound like female doms. I like male doms. Beware, this does have some m/m. Just a warning to you if that turns you completely off a story. The whole thing was hot and intriguing and I loved it.
