I saw youtube vids where Professor Mulligan described the results which got me interested in what he wrote. I found it kind of hard going since it had a substantial technical aspect to it - describing the analysis he did to support his conclusions. I think an extract or condensed version that went more into what the results were with references back to the main book might have been easier for my kind of reading.
