DESCRIPTION:
Dobiewankanobie said Flimsy and bad index.. The index on the back side of the book is not designed well. It is just like a normal procedural book, with a blackened stripe on the edge of the page in which the section starts, and an arrow on the back cover that defines what is in the pages that have the black stripe in that location. But ALL of the pages within a section should be blackened, here it is only the first page. It is hard to find what they are directing you to. Also, the same index is a little off. the only book you'll need for learning US IP law this is an edited statute book with the relevant copyright, trademark and patent statutes. I use this book daily and it is a great desk reference. It is smart to double check the law, no matter how often you cite it in a day. I annotated my copy during law school with the key cases and have made the book and even better tool for practice.
The 2012 edition of this one-volume compilation of intellectual property statutes, regulations and treaties for law students and practitioners includes the provisions of the America Invents Act, which significanly altered major aspects of the patent laws, along with all other new enactments and amendments made during the past year.
