Secret of Lost Mountain Yankee Mom One of the best creative and ingenious novels that I have read in a long time. The plot develops with increasing tension and builds up to a beautiful climax. A strange land of silence holds a secret that no outsider dares to penetrate. Once that secret begins to unfold and reveal itself, a new world opens up. Interwoven with the narrative elements are strands of spirituality and mysticism which convey an underlying supernatural quality. A great book which I highly recommend.. SECRET OF LOST MOUNTAIN Bernard Scott's Book, SECRET OF LOST MOUNTAIN, held me spellbound as this anthropological professor traverses to a foreign land to uncover where members of the tribe speak with no sound. Figuring largely into the plot is the mysterious amulet he's given to wear around his neck (which later exerts wide-ranging effects on many characters in the story, including himself.) At the end of his journey up river toward Lost
