Passable, but only just. My personal point of view is nothing is ever a 5 star, everything can be improved in some way. Also, nothing is every a 1 star, there is always some merit to be counted. That being said I felt this was a 2.5 star book (rounding to 3 seems fair).Besides the numerous grammatical and typog. Wonderfully written This is the second book in the series. I am not sure which one is longer, but I have been able to read them in a couple hours. They are good quick reads. I really like the fact that it's a strong female character and she stands up for herself and her independence. I do hope that they ad. "Well-Balanced Two-for-One Mystery" according to DOA. I enjoyed the first book in this series "Hammered" although it was obviously the work of a new writer. Despite the various technical problems the characters, mystery and setting, and the writer's straightforward style, made me get the next two books in the series. I'm glad I did. Almost
