I tend to like this author's writing lesfic fan I tend to like this author's writing, especially her recent Children of Noorthi series because of the fun characters, so I was pleasantly surprised by the slightly different style of this book. I love historical romances and also books that have that magical thread running through it. It was interesting to read a bit about the French Revolution and the twist in the end was pure genius. Speaking of series, she could definitely write a sequel to this b.
