Stephen Orr said A lesser author would be lagging at this point. A lesser author would be lagging at this point in a series. Not Huston! These novels are seamless. We continue to care about the characters and their strange lives. Far more than a bridge in the middle of a series. A fabulous novel all on its own. Your move For much of the story, Pitt is a game piece moved all over NY. Where is the rebel? Politics is the game and the clans are masters. Maybe Pitt comes into his own in the next chapter.
