"Not the greatest book that could be written" according to David L. Millard. Not the greatest book that could be written, but for Mama's Family fans it is sufficient. I would have really enjoyed a bit more detail about the series, since it is truly classic TV. I would recommend the purchase because it is a nice follow-up to a great series. :). "Terrible" according to Hawthy. I used to say I LOVED all things Mama's Family until I got this book. My biggest beef (besides the fact that it was cut and paste from wikipedia) is the fact that the "author" doesn't know the difference between Lose and Loose. If you are going to write up a book, you should either know this OR at least hire someone to proof read it before you publish and sell it. You will find better by saving money and either watching the episodes OR just going to wikipedia and writing it all down yo. Disappointing Gary Mark Morris I hate to be the naysayer hear, but as a longtime fan of this very underrated sitcom, I was disappointed by this book. Obviously it's a labor of love by the author, and the subtitle does say pretty much what you're getting: an "unofficial episode viewing guide." So in a sense I shouldn't complain.
