DESCRIPTION:
Think Outside the Box: Some fun Ideas JMB369 I bought this book because I am an avid scrap book person, and writing the stories is as important to me as showcasing the photos. Sometimes I cannot find the die cut or sticker letters I want. This book reminded me that I used to do calligraphy, and I am also a doodler. So I can make my own! One of the most useful features of the book is a page describing different kinds of pens and pen tips, and the special effects each one can create. I also enjoyed the variety of border patterns. Susan E. Burris said Not a good purchase. It was not what I expected. It has "Not a good purchase" according to Susan E. Burris. It was not what I expected. It has 20 different types of tips (read: 20 different markers) listed in the front and each of the letter types are dependent on having that type of tip. I found most of the letters and techniques look like something an elementary school child would have come up with on their own. While the techniques are valuable, and the techniques and styles are attainable, they leave me uninspired. If I had picked this book up in a bookstore, rather than buying it onl. 0 different types of tips (read: "Not a good purchase" according to Susan E. Burris. It was not what I expected. Glad I found this This book has many fun ideas and designs for making letters and boarders. I use these ideas to teach elementary children fun art projects and to use them in art journaling.
