As well as being a terrific tale of the old West, Lawman from Nogales has the nuances of a novel that is up and beyond its genre. I have read this author for many years, and I can actually say the same for all of his work. His stories offer several subplots and themes without losing or distracting the reader. In this story one of the many people of interest is an old man who travels the desert of Mexico with a tin bathtub on his back! Make of his characters what you will, they are never boring.
