"Total Enjoyment" according to Alan L. As someone who grew up in the era of TV westerns (The Lone Ranger, The Range Rider, Buffalo Bill Jr., Wild Bill Hickock)) I had to have this book. At first I was disappointed due to the lack of photos. I then started to read and could not put the book down. I read the first 85 pages the first day. The chapters about the Range Rider and Yancy Derringer put me back into my childhood. The price was a little high for a quick reading book, but I got the enjoyment f. Finally A Jocko Biography Thank you Gene Freese! I have been waiting and waiting for more information on the greatest stuntman of all time (maybe with the exception of Yakima Canut). The book answers so many questions I've had about Jock, particularly his first marriage and kids, his athletic accomplishments in school, his stroke, and on and on. Jock Mahoney, in my estimation, was one extraordinary athete, and I mean extraordinary! All you have to do is watch him in a few Range Rider e. CLF said Great Bio. Well written and researched bio on a talented and interesting man. His Hollywood career is covered in full detail and much is learned about his athletic feats and military career. Highly recommended.
