The Original & Best! (and it's not Corn Flakes) I love this CD! It's the first Jars of Clay album, and the best(in my opinion). It helped me to grow spiritually. In case you don't know, these are the songs with a short description of each:1. Liquid: talks (sings, actually) about Christ's sacrifice for us, and how "He didn't die for nothing." I liked all the instruments in the background, too.2. Sinking: about how we can try to convince ourselves that we don't need God; that we're fine on our own. But then it goes into how God sees through our lies and we should turn to Him for healing.3. Love Song For a Savior: my favorite! The title is pretty self-explanatory, I. John Day said Good Overall, Lots Going On. This book is in Piano/Vocal/Guitar Chord format which is understandable since this album has a lot going on. The album has guitars in an alternate tuning, mandolin, drums, drum machines, bass guitar, string (violins, cellos) parts, keyboards and some odd percussion. This book is probably best for keyboard players since the piano music has most of the overall sound of the songs transcribed in it. The guitar chords aren't bad but not what the band used on the record. The vocal harmonies were transcribed along with the melodies so that's cool. The publisher has a better ear than me for chord nuances like addGood Overall, Lots Going On John Day This book is in Piano/Vocal/Guitar Chord format which is understandable since this album has a lot going on.
