Blair died in April 1995 at the age of 85. At MGM, Blair directed Barney Bear shorts, and is well known as the animator and designer of Red Hot Riding Hood in the Tex Avery epic shorts. I was facinated as the artist/author gave me a glimpse into the style and technique that Walt Disney and his crew of animators developed to create Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, et al. It was really ground-breaking stuff in its day. Explained well; illustrated well.. but this is an amazing book! I learned a lot on how to Will post pictures soon (if I remember), but this is an amazing book! I learned a lot on how to draw animals and I've improved on human anatomy. I highly reccomend this book, unsure if it's good for beginners but if you have experience with drawing and are looking to improve your skills then you should definatly check it out!
