"Excellent" according to Denise. This book covers it all and there is a lot to know about cardiac surgery!! Any cardiac or critical care nurse would benefit from this packed-full-of-info book!. Basic reference book I've been a cardiac surgical ICU nurse for over 2 years and have regarded the Manual of Cardiac Surgery as my go-to reference book. I was looking for an ECMO book and came across this. It's extremely basic and easy to read, I would recommend it for a nurse new to cardiac surgery, but once you've got the hang of post surgical care it might not be detailed enough for you. I've recommended it to a few new nurses.. AWESOME BOOK!!!!!! Marie So easy to readI am already using the info in practice! I am amazed how much this little book has taught me!
