I kept track of my progress and/or my heartburn moments in monthly articles for our Lotus Corps car club newsletter called the Lotus Notus. This was my first atttempt at a total body off restoration of a Lotus Europa. I had a lot of fun restoring the car and writing the articles. I had previously restored a Lotus Cortina, a Lotus Seven and several Lotus Elans. I kept all the articles and now this book is the collection of those articles. A Lotus Europa is an old British car that was imported to the United States from about 1966 to about 1973. I hope you enjoy the book!. All That Beer and No Whiskey Every so often, I look at my fully functioning 1967 Europa Series 1A and imagine taking it apart, bolt by bolt, so that I could someday say I had held every piece of it in my hand. But, when I read a journal like Bob Herzog's "Europa Euphoria", someone who had already restored many Elans and Cortinas as well as a Seven before taking on a Twin Cam, and I content mysel. Zig said A must have. Just acquired Europa Euphoria book recently. Anyone looking at restoring Lotus Europa should read this easy reading book. Well balanced and humorous. Gives you enough technical details to help assess your abilities and show you what it takes to restor it before you start the restoration.. A Great Fun Read! This is just a fun read for sports car (actually any) gearheads. Obviously not intended to be an overly serious book but a fun telling of rebuilding of a classic British sports car. A Lotus Europa, one of my very favorites, a really neat car that personifies LOTUS (Lots Of Trouble, Usually Serious)' but a wonder to behold.I really enjoyed this book and highly recomme
