DESCRIPTION:

All 4 books were so good Greenleaf Ms Lockwood, you are a very talented writer. All of your books were very good. I did not notice many writing errors which seem to be such a distraction among the interracial novels. Great job and I hope more of your books become movies.. "Loved it" according to Anonymous. Enjoyed all four books. Read many from this author.. Duke the hero IMO, Duke was a lopsided hero and our girl came across with morals, at first. It was hard for me to really like the female character; I found her to be full of contradictions with attitude Duke at least let you know he was all about the sex. He wanted her friend and made sure she knew this and even went on a date with the friend and that just made her mad and turned on. I didn't think the story was fully developed--we had a vicious gang, the son as a graffiti artist, the weak ex husband still pining for her, her friend was ok with her taking Dukeit was as if I missed a chapter

Creed demanded responsibility, but the word wasn't in Duke's vocabulary. He never cared too much about anyone else, least of all falling in love. When her son gets into serious trouble that could destroy Kiyah's well-ordered life, Duke wants to step up. At first Duke wanted her blond friend, but he couldn't get the sexy Kiyah out of his head. While his cousins were making billions, Duke was busy getting thrown out of the army and landing inside jail. Kiyah was all about taking care of her teenage son and making a living. Then he started working at the famous Marquette's restaurant in New Orleans, his cousins' venture. Duke has always been the black sheep of the Marquette family. Not until he met Takiyah Silver. But how can a woman like her depend on a man who has nothing to offer?
