A delight to read. I downloaded this out of interest, as I had thoroughly enjoyed other works of adult fiction by the author.I intended only to read a few poems at a time but found that I just kept going.I like the way observations of life through the eyes of a child and life lessons are delivered with sensitivity and humour.Particular favourites are, Surgeon On Call, A Trip to the Zoo, A Rainbow within and Color My World.. "Cute stories, not a lot of sequence." according to Customer Bee. These are fun stories for my daughters, but they aren't terribly connected to one another theme wise. This is really ok, and it's great to have creative stories like this. My younger one can't wait for the next, and won't let me stop reading :) That doesn't happen with other books. The short collection is ideal for bedtime :). "Perfect little poems for Kids" according to Chris Graham. As well as the title poem, there are lots of other treats in this delightful little book, including wonderful little pictures of the various people, characters and creatures written aboutPerfect either for reading to kids in funny voices, or, to have them read for themselvesbut teach them how to do funny voices, it's bound to add to their enjoyment
