CSS3 Foundations Changed the way I look at CSS and I Love it! Ricardo Diaz My first impression of CSS3 Foundations it's a masterpiece! Its a necessary book for any web designer's library. Ian Lunn managed to do what 2 years in college couldn't do he taught me how to properly use CSS3. No long boring explanations or outdated techniques are used in this book. Instead Ian takes you through the journey of creating a website using cutting-edge techniques.The section on transforms and animations alone was an amazing read. It helped me finally understand how to use it correctly. No one has managed to explain these techniques to me in a way I. For Beginners This book does what it advertised, and is a great pickup to anyone just getting into web design. I was mostly disappointed that the book fails to address performance concerns when using certain style properties and which properties are GPU accelerated. A great starter book, but is lacking techincal details.
