A Customer said Eye Candy Book for the Noritake Addict. Joan VanPatten's book is not for the china pattern enthusiast. This book is for serious Noritake collectors who want to see the broad range of products this fantastic factory produced in its early years.This book only focuses on the "pre-war" years when Noritake's products were first being imported in. "Helpful, but barely skims the surface of available patterns" according to A Customer. Nice reference book, easy to follow with a price guide in the back. This is a good addition to my library on Japanese ceramics. It has some useful information, however it is impossible to create a reference book that includes all of Noritake wares and marks.
