Five Stars Good. "This is the pronunciation course you've been looking for." according to Michael Melcher. This course and the, slightly more advanced, blue-book edition have formed a major part of my teaching arsenal for about ten years. I especially like the way it seems to sensitize the students to what the author calls, "the music of English." Beyond that, the author does an especially good job of providing a rational for her approach. I will not try to best her here. Suffice it to say, her approach is unique, and in my opinion, very effective.. It looks great. Just wish I'd been able to find one at a cheaper price. It looks great.
