This was a wonderful second book to the "Ladies of the Caribbean" series reader This was a wonderful second book to the "Ladies of the Caribbean" series. It tied up loose ends from Manning's first book, "Swept To Sea", and the ending was stellar. The characters were interesting and deep; very well written and unique. The romance was sweet and clean, which is hard to find nowadays. I loved the playful dialogue that was constantly running throughout this book. The different subplots also kept me intrigued, and excited for a third book in the series! I can't wait for the next book, and to find out what happens to all the cha. Gem of a Book, Recommended for Readers who Love Pirate Stories and MaryLu Tyndall!! WHAT a GREAT book!!! And not to sound silly, but the author is soooooo young yet so incredibly talented! I really loved Gage and Ivy from the moment they appeared in the beginning and I just had to know what happened next with them :) This is one of those books that will keep you up WAAAYYY past bedtime and fighting to keep your eyes open because it's just THAT good.
