Sara L. said My new BIBLE on collections care.. I'm a museum professional and I read a lot of lofty british books about museum theory. I often buy a book thinking that the title and synopsis is that of a more "nuts and bolts" book on museum work. I am often mistaken. This book IS that resource. It tells you in very practical and concrete examples e. "Not written by Ogden" according to Wilson. Edited, but not authored. She's properly listed as the editor on the book cover. That said, it's a very well edited collection of writing by tribal and non-tribal folks that attempts to deliver a foundation core for appropriate care for cultural holdings in museums and collaterally, archives. As always
She is also the author of Preservation of Library and Archival Materials: A Manual and Preservation Planning: Guidelines for Writing a Long-Range Preservation Plan.. Sherelyn Ogden is the head of conservation at the Minnesota Historical Society
