An excellent text book for CAD/CAM I PURCHASED THIS BOOK FOR MY TEACHING LEARNING PURPOSE. I FOUND THAT THIS BOOK EXHAUSTIVELY COVERS THE VARIOUS ASPECTS OF CAD/CAM WHICH IS QUIET USEFUL FOR STUDENTS AND LEARNERS OF CAD/CAM. THE CONCEPTS OF BOOKS ALONG WITH DRAWINGS AND OTHER ILLUSTRATIONS ARE VERY CLEAR AND EASY TO COMPREHEND EVEN FOR BEGINNERS. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK.Prof.Dr.R.Panneer, ACP, SASTRA UNIVERSITY, THANJAVUR.. very disappointed. This was a book that was published in the 1980's I am sure there is updates since then. Should have been noted somewhere what the publish date was. very disappointed.
In this book, the authors examine interactive computer graphics and its use in design industrial robots, computer control of manufacturing processes, computer-integrated production control, automated inspections, and flexible manufacturing systems. They also discuss the implementation of turnkey CAD/CAM systems.
