Quickly regain strength and tone while dropping excess pregnancy pounds! Every other book on shedding the baby pounds focuses on just one aspect of bouncing back; this book incorporates both exercise and diet - equally important parts of the equation - while also discussing the crucial mental factors. Chapters are organized on a monthly basis with four-week subsections. This book takes readers through a measured 52-week plan, but shows them how to regain the strength and tone they had before they were pregnant within weeks - the rest of the plan will help women get even stronger and help them lose the pregnancy weight and get back into shape. Each week gives readers information about nutrition, cardio, flexibility, strength, mental outlook, etc depending what week is being covered, and an action plan for each week is outlined.

"Excellent New Mom Resource" according to Laura Horton. This book is great in a lot of ways. I really like how it goes through the entire year, not just a few months. I also like how it addresses exercise, nutrition and mental health. As a new mom, there are definitely some weeks that my mental health needs a boost -- this book delivers a year's worth of pointers. You can tell the author just went through this experience herself.. Down to Earth Advice I like this book because the author is a new mom herself and knows that complicated workouts and restrictive eating plans just aren't happening right now. I can follow the plan for each week and feel good without being overwhelmed. (I'm overwhelmed enough as it is right nowanybody else feel that way?). Great way to get in shape! This book has really helped me. My mind is filled with 10,000 baby-related thoughts, so my favorite thing is that it gives very specific instructions for each week. That's exactly what I need right now.
