R Greene said Great book - purchased for 10-year old. Purchased this for my 10-year old granddaughter who loves wolves and she really liked the book.. "Scott O'Dell books" according to Barbara A. Coopee. Wonderful author for children. I found his books helping Hispanic children, esp. girls to become excited about books. I also think he helps young girls see the power within themselves through his female charactrers.. Scott O'Dell Novel Scott O'Dell's novel, Black Star, Bright Dawn, arrived quickly and in excellent condition. The book is about the Alaskan Iditarod and is exciting and fast-paced. Anyone interested in survival stories will enjoy this novel.
