Wonderful addition to your daily scripture readings Sue This book must have been a lot of work to compile, and I am really enjoying reading it along with my Orthodox Study Bible notes during my daily scripture readings. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that it is cumbersome to use. The concordance in the back is organized in such a way that you have to flip through the sections of the book to find the readings for that day instead of listing page numbers, and some of the listings actually aren't in the book - at least, I can't find them! For example, the concordance says there are some sections for AN . Needs a new edition and not in sync with Orthodox Church of America lectionary Ronald Sims I'm just exploring (and appreciating) the amazing riches of the Orthodox Church. I had some difficulties with this volume:(1) The lectionary readings in this book are not in sync with the lectionary of the the American Orthodox Church or the Greek Orthodox church; rather it follows the Slavonic lectionary.(2) When this volume was written, about 1990, a very large amount of the writings of the church fathers had not been translated into English, according to the introduction of this book, which stated that the plan was to produce a newer edition after the tran
