Good, but EVARAIN I love this series of books by Hal Leonard. So I'm happy; BUT, I didn't realize it was the 'updated' edition, so, some of the songs I was hoping to get, weren't there. Ah, well.I'm still happy with the purchase. The keys are great, and it's very useful!. "The Belter's Book" according to Rhonda L. Dillon. This is my second copy of this book. It has usable keys for belter's some that are not available anywhere else.. Good songs in awkward keys old bookie This is a great collection of songs. As promised, many of the songs are transposed down, however, this results in very strange and awkward keys. This isn't really the fault of the book, just a necessary evil, but it still detracts from the experience. Also, most of the songs were originally written for female singers, so transposing them was kind of unnecessary. I'd have preferred songs written for men that were transposed down to a female range (i.e. 'Corner of the Sky' or 'Bring Him Home') Overall, good standards, but you better be (or have) a very adept piano player
Our updated edition adds 11 new belter favorites! (Vocal Collection)
