This story is very unique, and I can honestly say that Mia Sheridan is a brilliant writer. This book will make you laugh, will make you cry, make you happy and bitter all at the same time at the unfairness in life and the sad but very true ability of a man who is able to trick many into thinking his way, living his way and to ultimately cost the lives of hundreds of people-all in the name of "the Gods", . I'll be back for a proper review while I read the second book!Well, what can I say about this book except that love is pure and beautiful.I wasn't sure how I felt about this being about a religious cult and community.But seeing the love that Eden and Calder had for each other grow was beautiful. It was a whole forbidden love kind of thing.I was so confused reading the prologue at the beginning but it finally made sense once I reach the end.Oh man, the ending was so sad!After Calder g. I hated and loved this book For me this book was agony and ecstasy. I couldn't stand the suspense and I loved the sensual love scenes. I was screaming at times and had to put the book down. All cult leaders are two crackers short of a load. People follow them like lambs over the cliff. Some begin to wonder and think for themselves. Things are not ringing true as to what is being preached. It does not make sense. Others just don' t think for themselves and follow the leader. Then we have the budding romance.
