DESCRIPTION:
Book by Ford, William, Topp, William
HighwayMan said Standard. Who knows how many schools still use m68000 to teach assembly. Professor was speaking of moving to ARM or MIPS relatively soon yet we had to endure the wonderful m68000. The book is very easy to understand. Maybe someday another person will buy this book.. "Ford & Topp 68000 Assembly Language" according to A Customer. Ford and Topps work is well structured, organised and clear. Forstudents and professional engineers wishing to master Motorola's68000 and its siblings' assembly language this is an excellent text. The sections abound with examples and in pointing out how the orthogonal architecture of this processor and its rich addressing modes ease I/O programming as also for data structures linked lists, decision trees and so forth. The weakness if any is in the programming of the more sophisticated the second generat. Required Reading Arrived promptly and in good condition. I'm not a computer programmer to judge the book. It does its job but there could be less monotonous ways for learning this material.
