"Imperfections is Right" according to Michael P. Mihalik. When the blurb warns about imperfections and blurring, it isn't exaggerating. I got this book to help me understand the agricultural assets of the Union and the Confederacy during the Civil War; but some numbers can't be deciphered and a few seem not to have reprinted at all. An editor should have gone over the manuscript and darkened some of the numbers, but I imagine the scanty demand for a book of this type would not justify that degree of attention. Despite the frustration of illegible or missing data, I do not regret getting this book, as it does have a wealth of agricultu
