DESCRIPTION:
From Booklist Coed stop-smoking programs just won't work, according to Embree, because "smoking is not the same addiction in women as it is in men." Embree, an ex-smoker and therapist who has developed a program just for women, explains why women become addicted and delineates a plan for quitting, avoiding weight gain, and retraining one's subconscious. Exercising, healthy eating, and journal writing are among the suggestions for maintaining a no-smoking regime. Denise Perry Donavin
thestopsmokingblog said Excellent. Firsly I have always found that many of these "self help" stop smoking books, are aimed at a male audience, however "a womans way" looks at the social dynamics of a woman trying to quit. Very intresting read and im sure would help a lot of people.[]. C'mon Really Do This Marilyn Quitting smoking is hard to do. This book helps. C'mon to Really Do This, I needed a book to help guide me. This book did that.
