Not for Type 1's Staci I have read this book & it is not very good for Type 1 kids or parents of Type 1's. Yes, Type 2 is on the rise in the US for kids, & for those kids which eating, exercise, & weight loss will help curb and possibly cure their Type 2 diabetes, this book is good. For type 1's . Gail said Reviewer is clueless. This book title piqued my interest, but the reviewer that says "With obesity and diabetes on the rise in children, parents are eager for information that can make raising a child with diabetes easier" tells me that the reviewer doesn't have a child that lives with diabetes . "Everything's covered here." according to Midwest Book Review. 'Healthy' and 'diabetes' usually don't go together; particularly when children are involved - but thanks to modern medicine and 101 Tips for Raising Healthy Kids with Diabetes, they can go together quite nicely. Parents are given quick, easy answers to topics relating to me
